The second floor common area is not reservable as it is open for all participants to collaborate. However, program and pod organizers may notify the Institute's events staff (simonsevents@berkeley.edu) of their plan to collaborate with a group in this area. The Institute's events staff will then add this planned collaboration to the calendar. The purpose of this calendar is to avoid two large groups collaborating in the second floor conference area at the same time.
